Røros Church ((ノルウェー語:Røros kirke), also known as ''Bergstadens Ziir'') is a parish church in the municipality of Røros in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in the mining town of Røros. Røros Church is Norway's fifth largest church, and has about 1600 seats. It is also ranked by Riksantikvaren as one of the ten most important churches in Norway. The church is part of the Røros parish in the Gauldal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The church was consecrated on 15 August 1784 by Bishop Marcus Fredrik Bang. Røros Copper Works paid for the building of the stone church, and the symbol of the Copper Works was put on all sides of the tower wall. There is a sign over the entrance to the church that says ''"Til Guds Ære og Bergstadens Ziir"'' which means "to God's Glory and Bergstaden's beauty." Bergstaden means "the mining town", and this is why the church is sometimes referred to as "Bergstadens Ziir". ==See also== *Brekken Church *Glåmos Church *Hitterdal Chapel *Røros Chapel *List of churches in Sør-Trøndelag 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Røros Church」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
